Kospin Jasa's chairman HM. Andy Arslan Djunaid said the cooperatives with members consisting of traders and entrepreneurs, has 109 service outlets all over the country.

Members of the country's largest cooperative include all ethnic groups mainly Javanese, Chinese and Arabs, Andy said.

He said the idea of establishing the cooperative is to help expand small enterprises.

In a year the cooperatives with 69 individual members succeeded in collecting and mobilizing Rp67.8 billion, he said.
He said the cooperative recorded a turnover of between Rp7 trillion and Rp10 trillion per day.

The members include batik makers and other textile producer but also local traders of all ethic groups and of different religions.
