"Tomorrow (Wednesday), he will attend the judicial review session," Hendra Eko Putranto, the head of Pasir Putih Penitentiary in Nusakambangan, informed newsmen at Wijayapura pier, here on Tuesday.

He noted that Serge will leave Pasir Putih at 7 p.m. local time, on Tuesday, accompanied by his relatives and escorted by the police.

He said Serge had been granted a permit to leave the penitentiary for two days to attend the court session.

With regard to Rodrigo Gularte, another drug convict on death row who has been reportedly suffering from mental illness, Hendra revealed that the doctors from the Central Java police and the Attorney General's Office have already conducted an examination on him.

"It was done two or three days ago, and so we are just awaiting its results," he stated.

With regard to whether Rodrigo will be taken to a hospital, he noted that the convict felt his condition was fine, and so, it would not be a problem.

"Thank God, he is fine and has no problem," he stated in connection with the health condition of Zainal Abidin, the death convict from Palembang.

He said the convict had submitted a judicial review suit to the district court in Palembang.

The Central Java regional office of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights stated on Tuesday that the preparations for the executions of the drug convicts on death row at Nusakambangan are 100 percent complete.

"We have been 100 percent ready since February 28. We are just waiting for the D-day, which is the affairs of the Attorney General," Yuspahruddin, the head of penitentiary division of the office, remarked.

The Attorney General's Office has recently released the names of the 10 drug convicts on death row who would be executed at Nusakambangan.
