Boyolali readies 12,950 COVID-19 doses for vaccination on September 10

Acting Head of the Boyolali Health Office Insan Adi Asmono remarked that the doses would be used for offering COVID-19 vaccination services at 20 community health centers and eight other vaccination service locations.
Apart from the community health center, the Health Service will also conduct vaccination in Kopen and Randusari in Teras Sub-district, Tanjungsari Village in Banyudono Sub-district, Tegalrejo Village in Sawit Sub-district, Kendel Village in Kemusu Sub-district, Titang and Jeron in Nogosari Sub-district, and Tumang Village in Cepogo Sub-district.
Every community health center on Friday was given 500 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, Asmono confirmed.
He revealed that the local government has been intensifying vaccination services in order to complete the vaccination for 835,772 targeted people in Boyolali by the end of December 2021.
"Starting next week, we will deploy more than 100 health workers for vaccination activities, bringing the number to 267 health workers, in an effort to accelerate vaccination," Asmono remarked.
The district's health office is also targeting 50 percent of the total targeted figure to be vaccinated by the end of September 2021.
According to data released by the district's health office, as of September 9, some 239,976 people, or 28.7 percent of the population, had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 125,642 people, or 15 percent of the target, had been fully vaccinated with the administration of the second dose.
The government's data reveal that 22,896 people, or 93.8 percent of the cumulative number of COVID-19 patients in Boyolali had recovered.
Some 48 COVID-19 patients are still undergoing treatment at the hospital, 79 patients are self-isolating, and nine patients are still undergoing quarantine at a centralized isolation facility.
The bed occupancy rate (BOR) at hospitals in Boyolali had plunged to around 12 percent and the area was designated as a yellow zone, a low-risk zone for COVID-19 transmission.
